I am Hershel Adams, Senior Pastor of Sonlight Church, located in Chesapeake, VA. I adore my lovely wife, Deena. We have three children and one granddaughter that I love with all my heart.
If you have gotten to know me at all, you have discovered that I am passionate about making the name of Jesus famous. I love being on staff at Sonlight and helping others experience a genuine relationship with Christ. I’m not into rules, regulations and religion. I prefer an intimate, loving relationship with Jesus.

I just wanted to thank you again for your wisdom and encouragement. I am enjoying the book, “Choosing God’s Best,” though I don’t think I’ve gone through a page of it dry-eyed.
I know, though, that God has something wonderful in store for me and I keep praying for that.
Oh! I’m still working on giving it all to God…haha…I’ll get it right eventually.
