Bring your coolers and let’s tailgate this weekend at Sonlight. I am more pumped up about this message series than you can imagine. The reason why I’m so passionate about this series is because I know that if you will fully embrace what we are going to talk about over the next several weeks, you will live a life of significance and fulfillment that you have only dream of. Not only that, but God’s kingdom will be advanced in ways that we can’t even imagine.
What are we going to study and learn? We are going to understand what it means to step off the sidelines of being a spectator and get in the game by getting involved in serving God and others. There you go, I said it. Now you have a choice of whether or not you are going to come to church this week and hear what God’s word has to say about being in the game.
For me personally, being in the game makes life thrilling and exciting. I something to watch your football team score a touchdown and win a game, but what if you were the person that actually scored the touchdown! Wouldn’t that be exciting!! Well, God invites us to be a part of His redemptive story by serving Him and serving others. I hope you will chose to come this week and see for yourself how you can get in the game.
