Wow! What an incredible service! It was so good to be back at Sonlight and preaching again. I’m so grateful that you guys allow me to be your pastor. I give thanks to God for this church family and for how God is moving and working every week. Here are some of the highlights for today:
- Pastor Jeff and the band lead us to experience God through music in a powerful way! Way to go!!
- The Amp drink was a rush!!!
- One person that I know of gave their life to Christ!!
- We had over $28,000 given to God this weekend! Amazing!
- You made it through a seven point message.
- Did I mention that I was fired up before I even drank the Amp! Yeah, I’m going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.
- Someone told me today that God was leading them to teach a class to help husbands and wives become stronger and more intimate with God and one another. I can’t wait to kick that off! I know we could all use some help in having a better marriage.
- I can’t wait to see what God does next Sunday!
- We need volunteers in our children’s and preschool ministries, I hope you will consider helping us out. (Just had to throw that in, we really need you!)
- I heard Pastor Dave wouldn’t allow any of the youth to drink their Amp until after the service. :(
- I’m really glad I didn’t drink that second Amp drink. Good thing Deena was there, or I would have done it! That’s how stupid I am!! Thanks honey! You probably saved my life.
