Today was an awesome service at Sonlight. We were able to have a video link with our missionaries that are currently in Paris, Kenny, Teresa Jeremy and Jonathan. It was real encouraging to see and hear them and for the church to experience it with us. I really thought their words were very challenging to us to continue to hold the rope for them while they are preparing to enter Africa in July. They looked so good and the boys seemed to be doing very well. I’m so excited for them as they continue to passionately pursue God’s calling for their lives. We need to keep them close in our prayers and thoughts as they make this transition. The country is still in a state of conflict and civil war.
Another element that I really enjoyed in our service today was the video testimony that we aired of the healing of Vickie Birch. It was so encouraging and inspiring! God is so powerful! It was awesome to see Vickie follow that 700 Club video with her expression of signing to “Above All”. You have to check it out on our website this week if you missed our service.
For some, the best part was the fact that I didn’t get to finish my message. I think that’s the first time I just stopped and didn’t even try to cover all that I had prepared. All I can say is that when God moves, I’m not going to get in the way. God obviously used this service in a powerful way. I had so many comment afterwards about how God used the partial message, the video link with kenny and Teresa, and the testimony of Vickie to speak to their hearts! God, you are awesome!

We were so surprised and excited to hear about Kenny, Teresa and family! We will be praying for them as they enrich Gods Kingdom! Our small group with Kenny and Teresa was such a blessing, They prayed with us through infertility and so much more, we are very greatful to both of them! My husband now leads a couples small group for our church and I lead a woman’s group.
