This week we are beginning our “One Prayer” series. My prayer for our church and all churches around the world is that God would make us passionate in our relationship with Him. Honestly, I’m getting sick and tired of seeing people involved in religion and just going through life with no real meaningful passion. When are we going to wake up and realize that it’s not about religion, it’s about a relationship that real and authentic. God’s desire for us is that we would love him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. That sounds a lot like passion to me! Jesus tells us we are to surrender our ambitions and shoulder our cross and follow Him. If we try to keep our lives for ourselves, we will lose it. But if we give up our lives for Christ, we will find true life. (Matthew 16:24-25) I hope to see you all at church this week.
