As we were praying about attending this seminar called Momentum, we asked God who might lead this endeavor. God brought Dan Neice to mind because of his heart and passion for helping others establish a sound and biblical financial plan. I’m so glad that he answered the voice of God and decided to join us at this seminar. Last night, he committed to leading this endeavor at Sonlight! He’s going to do a great job and here’s how I know why: God lead us to ask him, he accepted the invitation, and this morning he presented a plan for how and when we are going to implement this. He wrote something down that I want to share with you. This will help you understand why we are doing this and why God lead him to lead Momentum at our church.
The purpose of this endeavor is a simple one-to bring people closer to Christ through proper stewardship of their finances. During the 13-week course, the average results have been to payoff $5300 in debt and place $2700 into savings. The ultimate goal is to become totally free from the bondage of debt, which in turn will enhance marriages, families, relationships and one’s own relationship with Christ.
I thought that was awesome! Because it aligns with Sonlight’s mission statement which is:
Leading people into a passionate relationship with Jesus.
Financial freedom results in all of us growing in our relationship with Christ. It also frees us up to financially invest in the mission of God’s work so that others can come to know Jesus personally. Have I mentioned how fired up I am about bringing this to our church?! I can’t wait!

I stop my Sonlight’s web site from time to time to see how you all are doing. And low and behold today I see you have a blog. I have been in the blogging world for just over a year, enjoying sharing with other Christian moms, my sweet husband does not allow me to share our real names or where we live, so you will have to go over to Happy Mommy to see who I am! We miss you all so much and think of you all often! Jenna’s daughter is just beautiful! Tell Deena hello for me. Congratulations on the Biggest Loser contest. It took me 10 months to lose the 95 pounds I lost, that was 4 years ago and I have kept it off, the hard work pays off, keep it up! Hope we can come and visit Sonlight soon.
Blessings
Happy Mommy
