This week should be very interesting. Deena and Jeremy left for Florida while I’m staying here with our granddaughter, Kylie, who is 13 months old. Yeah, just call me Granddaddy Day Care! She’s the most adorable little girl ever. I’m actually looking forward to this week and the time that we are going to get to spend together. I sure that it’s going to be a challenging week, but I think I’m up for it. My biggest challenge is to somehow fit my workout into Kylie’s schedule. I can’t quit now, I’m right on Bob’s heals for the biggest Loser Contest. I’m afraid of our weigh in this Thursday, but hopefully I’ll be able to get to the gym in the evenings. It’s amazing how the birth of a child drastically changes your priorities. It kind of makes me think of our rebirth! Shouldn’t our priorities entirely change when we accept Christ and the new life that He offers us?! What if we understood just how important our priorities are to becoming the person that God wants us to become. Yes He saves us and forgives us of all our sins, but He loves us too much to leave us that way. He wants our hearts and our actions to seek Him above all. Are we living that surrendered life? I pray that we are.
Just me and Kylie!
