Wow!  God is so amazing.  Even on a day when just about everything we had planned didn’t actually happen, God still worked and accomplished His plan.  I must admit that this weekend was a struggle for me personally.  I was praying like crazy for God to move in the hearts of the people and I was praying for God to send people to hear about Christ, but for some reason I was feeling a lot of pressure to deliver something that I couldn’t deliver.  Last week was probably the most powerful service we have every had at Sonlight.  So many people came up to me and shared how God had used the message and the music to motivate them to make a change in their lives.  Nearly ever person took the challenge to bless other people over the last week.  However, what I discovered this weekend is that I can’t make anything happen on Sunday. (or any day of the week for that matter)  It’s all God.  Only God can move His people to action.  Only God can draw people to accept Jesus into their lives. Only God can do the miraculous.  And if God doesn’t show up, we might as well just go home.  I give praise to God for the 478 people that came this morning to hear about Jesus and the new life that He offers.  Now I only pray that God would use His word and His Spirit to draw people to Himself.
