Have you ever had one of those moments? I’m sure we all have. There are times that I wish I could just rewind the clock and get a do over. Today, a dear friend of mine shared some really sad news and although my heart hurt for him and his wife, I never stopped to just pray with him. Another opportunity missed that I will never get back. I really hope that God will grow me and help me seize every opportunity to call on Him for strength, hope and love. He’s the only one that can truly help a hurting and broken heart. As I thought about this situation, it made me realize how many times I really do blow it. Last Sunday, I challenged everyone to seek opportunities to bless someone that they encounter in their community. Several people have told me that they have found themselves more aware of the people that are around them every day. My prayer is that they will seize the opportunities that God gives them to make His name famous and help other people turn their eyes and hearts heavenward. Let’s always be on alert! Take time to listen to God prompting and then obey God’s voice.
